Well, sure it’s the holis, doesn’t mean I’m back to blogging just yet. I’ve been busy with something much more important: card magic π Haha
Those who know me know that I enter and exit this phase quite a lot. ie. I’ll get really into cards and spend every waking second with a deck in my hands, but yet a day later I’ll throw these aside and head on to do other stuff.
Unfortunately, now that it’s the holis and I’ve finally got spare time, I’m back to card magic again. Really struggling now, after months of not practising, but it’s still really fun π Also, this is the first time I’ve bothered to research more into magic, and I’ve learned quite a bit, though everything I play around with is just for fun.
I have come to respect magicians though. It’s undoubtedly one of the toughest jobs in the world. You practise and practise and practise, sometimes even for years, just to get one trick or routine right. However, it’s the job with the greatest hard work to satisfaction ratio, because the satisfaction of watching peoples’ eyes widen in shock and awe, asking you how the hell you did it and begging you to do it again, is all the reward a professional magician needs.
For me, it’s my only reward.
