Well, so the school term started again last week and it’s getting quite annoying for me. I don’t exactly know WHY it’s annoying, I just FIND it annoying. Make sense? Yeah… didn’t think so either.

That doesn’t actually mean I’ve got a ton load of schoolwork to do, it’s just that I have… err… a lot of school-related-stuff to do. And it’s not that I’m getting overwhelmed by the amount of work I have to do, the work I have to do is just… annoying the hell out of me.

Ok considering how anyone can read this, I probably shouldn’t go into details, and besides, I’m too lazy to, and besides I wouldn’t know where to start from, and besides even if I did know where to start from I wouldn’t know where to start explaining it from, and even if I did know where to start explaining it from I wouldn’t know how to explain it….

You get my point: I’m annoyed.

Well, I just officially became a writer over at Darkzero.co.uk, but it’s a non-paying “gig”, but still a pretty fun experience to be part of a game site. I mean I’d love to belong to any blog network, but seeing as how games is probably the area I’m most familiar with and thus the area in which I can talk the most cock about, it’s a pretty suitable thing for me to do to pass time.

Well, now it means I’m writing on 4 different sites.

  1. This blog
  2. My other personal blog, link is on the right sidebar
  3. College blog
  4. DarkZero

Somehow I’m barely managing, but my other personal blog even managed to break through the 4 million mark on alexa.com 🙂 Which means my site is now the 3,601,154 most frequently visited site on the internet 🙂 Not bad for a personal blog that receives no advertising whatsoever after just a few short months. My visitor spike after getting featured on the front page of N4G definitely helped 🙂

Alas, school starts tomorrow and we’ll see how good I am at juggling so much stuff to do. Well, for the first time in years ever I’m not dreading going back to school that much.

We’ll see how it goes 🙂

Oh and went out with Excelerate Clic group today, finally after almost a year, we managed to use our Jack’s place voucher and spent 2 bucks on a meal at Jack’s place. Ha. Cheer competition we went to watch for awhile after that near Zouk was pretty cool as well.

Obsession

Well, sure it’s the holis, doesn’t mean I’m back to blogging just yet. I’ve been busy with something much more important: card magic 🙂 Haha

Those who know me know that I enter and exit this phase quite a lot. ie. I’ll get really into cards and spend every waking second with a deck in my hands, but yet a day later I’ll throw these aside and head on to do other stuff.

Unfortunately, now that it’s the holis and I’ve finally got spare time, I’m back to card magic again. Really struggling now, after months of not practising, but it’s still really fun 🙂 Also, this is the first time I’ve bothered to research more into magic, and I’ve learned quite a bit, though everything I play around with is just for fun.

I have come to respect magicians though. It’s undoubtedly one of the toughest jobs in the world. You practise and practise and practise, sometimes even for years, just to get one trick or routine right. However, it’s the job with the greatest hard work to satisfaction ratio, because the satisfaction of watching peoples’ eyes widen in shock and awe, asking you how the hell you did it and begging you to do it again, is all the reward a professional magician needs.

For me, it’s my only reward.

HOORAY, CTs are finally over. I’m not expecting to do very well, but never really aimed for that in the first place either 😛

Anyway, I came back last night to horrendous news about Apple’s latest product: the new iPod Shuffle.

When I saw the news story title, I thought it was an Onion article (ie. parody, a joke, not real)

Seriously, NO CONTROLS ON THE MP3 PLAYER? The lack of that feature alone makes the iPod Shuffle more inferior to every single other MP3 player EVER INVENTED.

Common tests are sucking the life out of me for now, thankfully one last paper tomorrow in the afternoon and I’m finally done with them. Then it’s like straight back to work, got tons of other stuff to do besides school homework 😦 sigh.

My march holis are gone.

Ah wells, nitez now.
