Feels like Tonight

Really relishing the fact that my parents aren’t home now. It’s SO PEACEFUL AND QUIET. And I’m about to go to bed soon, but since I got nothing else to do might as well just ramble onnnnnnnnn.

Anyway it’s quite funny that people are searching for “xinmin arena” to reach my blog. Lol it only helped remember how hilarious yesterday’s episode of “The Arena” was. Loyang vs Xinmin. I only watched like 15 mins of it, but it was more than enough to serve as catharsis.

They were talking about teenage pregnancy (not sure why) and then Xinmin Poi’ed something about the teenagers being able to confide with counselers or doctors. And Loyang’s amazing reply to that was that the doctors wouldn’t keep it a secret because the doctors would advise the teenagers to tell their parents. Haha, joke number 1 I witnessed.

Next, after that second round was over, the judges each had to give their comments. The guest judge (I got no idea who it was) said something like, “I think both of you did a pretty fine job. But the supporters of Loyang are much more supportive compared to Xinmin’s supporters and basically drowned them out. So I’m hoping that in future rounds, Xinmin supporters will be more lively” or something like that. Then he proceeded to give the round to Loyang, and it seemed like his only reason for doing so was because their supporters were “more supportive’. Lol. Joke number 2 I witnessed.

Finally, the next round was the wonderful “Rebuttal Round”. Now, immediately after every single Xinmin speaker gave a point (which lasted for like 10 seconds each on average), their supporters cheered. Haha. The judges didn’t release the results for that round until at 10pm, and I didn’t watch that show, and neither did I watch their comments. Didn’t bother wasting my time, I had had enough of The Arena. Joke number 3 I saw.

So yeah, 3 jokes in 15 mins, which averages out to about 1 joke every 5 minutes. Which means that if I had watched the whole show there would have been more than 10 jokes. Which is a totally feasible number for a show like this.

I still wanna continue blogging, but it’s really getting too late. I’m playing basketball tomorrow so better get to bed now. nitez all..
